The HobbyWing XeRun V10 G3 has been specially designed for extremely high level racing. The RMP of G3 Stock motor has been significantly improved, the KV & torque have been improved by 16% and 4% respectively compared with the V10 G2 Stock motor.
The G3 Modified & Stock motors are lightweight and only weigh 161g & 132g respectively, the weights have been reduced by 11% and 21% when compared with the previous generation G2 motors.
The built-in high precision Hall sensor combined with the high precision and balanced rotor guarantee outstanding linearity of the motor. The mechanical timing can be finely adjusted finely and the timing marks on the rear end plate of the motor guarantee the stability of the timing after adjustment. For G3 Stock motors (10.5T~25.5T), the timing is adjustable from 30 degrees to 60 degrees; for Modified motors (3.5T~8.5T), the timing is adjustable from 20 degrees to 50 degrees.
The motor can has been designed to be easy to dismantled for maintenance purposes and for the replacement of any parts that wear. The special can design allows for extra airflow around the stator core to maximize cooling and efficiency. Even more of the case has been machined from the end plates of the 10.5T~21.5T motors further help reduce heat. The end plates of 5.5T~8.5T motors are machined in a way to effectively keep sand or dirt from getting inside and damaging the motor but still allow for extra cooling.
The use of a high performance stator core, heat resistant wire(200degC), a heat resistant precision rotor (200degC), high precision and high strength bearings and copper solder tabs guarantee outstanding performance and super durability.
It’s compliant with IFMAR, ROAR, EFRA, BRCA rules, and certificated by RoHS, CE, FCC
HobbyWing XeRun V10 G3 Timing Information:
The V10 G3 motors provide a wide range of adjustable mechanical timings. For optimal performance you can change the output range and characteristic of your power system by adjusting the motor timing. For the (10.5T~25.5T) Stock motors the default timing is 40 degrees; for the (3.5T~8.5T) Modified motors the default timing is 30 degrees.
Increasing the timing can increase the motor speed (RPM), but this will also increases the motor temperature and reduce the overall efficiency. Before adjusting the motor timing your must ensure your ESC is properly programmed, higher timing usually requires a higher gear ratio too. After adjusting the timing it is best to check the temperatures of the motor to ensure that your motor overheat after running a whole battery pack.
You can get information about the motor temperature via an infra-red temperature gun, the LCD programmer or the WiFi module & smart phone (with the Hobbywing WiFi Link App installed). If the motor temperature is too high, you must let the motor cool down first then reduce the timing or increase the FDR and then test again.
